like taking candy

this isnt finished and it probably never will be, i did it a couple months ago but i want to post it because it was something unbelieveable that my own MOTHER did.

we were in barns n nobles, while i was sitting at the cafe my mom was wandering around looking for a magazine. instead she came across a little girl that she describes around the age of four or five with her young dad, and she was holding a cloth alice in wonderland doll.
my mom is probably the biggest alice in wonderland fan and has been since before i can remember and has a lot of original merch, she wanted this doll too but at the time didnt have the money for it and when she came back to get it, was told they were sold out.
imagine her excitement when this little girl was holding one. to her eternal gratitude the young father said no to the little girl, promising to come back another day for it. my mom literally stalked them until they left and the girl put down the doll.
she purchased it on the spot and told be all about her misadventure when she sat down with me. she wouldnt put it down, just kept 'giving it love' lmao she has it on her desk today
