This isn't lame! It's Skyrim we're talking about! I didn't even know girls played Skyrim
Do you have... a book under your TV, to tilt it? Does that give you a better viewing angle? Do you always play from the floor, and remove the book to use the TV from somewhere else? Has it fallen over forward before?
What kind of character do you have? Oh, wait. You answered that for someone else already. Mine is a mage and archer who sometimes sneaks, but never fast travels.
Questions, questions! lol I did have a book tilting my TV when I had everything on the floor at my dads when he was first moving into his condo! No it never fell although I did have it at such a drastic angle that it wobbled from time to time. He only has netflix at the house so the TV is game-use only!
I came back and looked at this picture several times because I find the way it's lit interesting. The layers of shading of it. As a kid, I thought my knowledge of light and shadow, but as an adult I learned I totally don't. But I also like a method of shading that's simple, like in any cartoon that doesn't just use flat colors. Ones where the best shading they do is just like yours here, rather than doing some shading that's a total gradient from light to dark. I like shading like the shading and lighting you did here, where you use fixed shades, better than that gradual kind.
I had started thinking before about how inadequate my shading is, and thinking I should keep the shading I use now, but only use that for the darkest parts. Then I should learn how to shade properly, and use that for the rest. Except, it seems like I'd need a lighter color to go with it all for instances where the light is shining brightly and directly on the the object. So I told you all that because I was thinking about all that jazz while I was looking at this picture, and the light and shadow everywhere.
I was also thinking about why you'd need to tilt your TV. Does the TV have a poor viewing angle or something, so the colors are all washed out or too dark if not viewed from a slant? I know on my laptop I have to tilt it to distinguish certain pale colors from each other, or certain dark ones from other dark colors. And if your TV falls from that height, it should be fine! I've seen TVs fall from further than that undamaged.
The TV can't be used for TV because that will interfere with Netflix streams? Well, isn't there something nice about having a TV just for games?
I seriously love your drawings. Also, I know what you mean about skyrim adventures. It took me at least 6 hours straight to do the second half of the thieves guild quest.
I am avoiding them haha I sadly haven't played since I drew this picture a while ago, but I am at a cross roads in the game about the wise old dragon in the game I might play some today actually C:
